Although the car market sales in 2018-2019 temporarily entered a downward period, it can be predicted that with the continuous growth of China's economy and the continuous improvement of people's income level, China's potential car consumption demand is still huge. Although the automotive lighting market is huge, an indisputable fact is in front of us: at present, in the automotive lighting supply chain in Chinese Mainland, from components, modules, to lights, joint-venture and foreign-funded manufacturers occupy most of the market share, and local manufacturers in Chinese Mainland are still unable to compete with it. In the first half of this year, BYD successively released the new generation Tang EV, the new Song MAX plug-in hybrid version and the new Yuan EV. New energy vehicles have become the core business of its automobile sector. According to BYD's 2019 semi annual report, the revenue and net profit in the first half of the year were 62.184 billion yuan and 1.455 billion yuan, up 14.84% and 203.61% year on year respectively. Among them, the revenue of new energy vehicle business in the first half of the year was about 25.448 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.77%, and its proportion in the group's revenue was further increased to 40.92%.
